Re: Brace height vs speed
More info on Dan Miller. Hes awesome! His prices are very good and sent my goodies in 2-3 days sharp. Here is his list of goodies. The only downside is he does not have a website so you have to call him to order directly. Hes on a bear hunt now, he should be back 5 more days from this post. http://s...

Re: Finally answers for the Matrix 350 LE Mossy
Good advices you guys i left it cocked over night and unwind the factory string and here is the result that fits within the manual limit for brace height. :D However, i am wondering why didnt they do this so no-one need to adjusting it. Unwinding the string left me feeling the string integrity is we...

Re: Finally answers for the Matrix 350 LE Mossy
Now it looks like you need to unwind the string so the twists are out of it since it is an endless loop string,,,, don't do that with a flemish string. I would recamend you cosk the bow and leave it cocked for 12 to 24 hours, I do with all new bows I get, I don't know if it helps settle the limbs o...

Re: Finally answers for the Matrix 350 LE Mossy
Looks like you have a new unstretched string on your bow. Mine is the same as Wildcatters picture at 3/4" brace once stretched and set correctly. I only cocked the string back a dozen of times. As of now it's still a brand new string that haven't been shot with any arrow. It's still measured a...

Re: Finally answers for the Matrix 350 LE Mossy
I can't attach a pic to upload because "the board attachment quota has been reached." lol But i measured it. It's definitely a little more than 1 1/2" :? Where are you measuring from? "Brace height is the distance the string sits measured from the joint where the riser meets the...

Re: Finally answers for the Matrix 350 LE Mossy
My only concern as of now is Brace Height of 350. In the manual it said, "correct brace height is important and will affect the performance of your crossbow and string."
Matrix Series Models: 1/2"-1" Brace Height. My 350 SE's Brace Height is close to 2"...

Re: What arrow weight do you prefer?
My crossbow draw weight is 240. I use Diablo-250 grains + VPA 3-blade 175 Grain Non-Vented 1 1/4″ Diameter = 425 total arrow weight. Should be around 331 FPS and 103 KE. I like large diameter wound hole and a solid arrowhead that's why i stick with 425 total arrow weight. Otherwise 400 would have be...

Re: Finally answers for the Matrix 350 LE Mossy
Check out Big John's "Moms Bow Cases" in the Trading Post. Very nice and a whole lot of bang for the buck. If I get a case for mine, This will be it. Big John is a top shelf arrow maker also. 8) Very nice man! I already email him asking for more info on the case. Any other goodies that yo...
