Thanks for the advice. I know it was a good deep hit, I know that she could not have been more than 15 yards away. I have played it over and over in my head as I tried to sleep last night. She walked right up to me and I was sitting on the ground. When I rolled a little bit to the right to look arou...

HELP!!!!!!
I shot a big doe about seven o’clock tonight. She was about ten to twenty yards away. After I pulled the trigger I heard a loud thwack noise but it was too dark to see the bolt hit her. Does that sound like a hit? She turned and ran with the other two does eighty yards and then turned into some tall...

Guess what I found?
Two weeks ago I was out scouting a new place to hunt and I found an excellent spot. It is a small clearing with a few trees and Evergreens. It is bordered by a lake on the West and a deep creek bed and dense timber on the East that I had to push my way through. I didn’t know that it was there but I ...

I just saw a REAL TROPHY!!!!!
My wife and I had went out for a drive today and I wanted to show her an incredible house I had found while scouting some public hunting areas near a lake a few miles away. After looking at the house she said lets go on down the road to the hunting area and see the North end of the lake. The plant g...

Thanks for the info Buckshot, let me repeat it back to make sure I am on the right track. Don’t tighten them down completely just tighten them until they start to squeeze the rubber spacers. Then evenly space them away from the limbs and secure them with loctite. Is red loctite ok? Hey Wombat you ju...

Dissipater bar question?
I was checking things out today on my Exomag, making sure all the screws were still tight, after shooting about a hundred arrows on Sunday. When I turned the screws holding the dissipater bars on, I noticed that all four were lose. Is this normal and if not how tight should they be? I looked through...

My first day as an X-bowman
I took my new Exomag out for the first time to day to get the Varizone scope I put on it sighted in. All I can say is that this is the most AWSOME weapon I have ever used! Bill Troubgidge you are truly a genius  and your crossbow is magnificent! It is so simple, so accurate and so incredibly p...
