I've always just a very fine coat that I spread with my finger.

I've always wanted to use a pistol for hog hunting down here but never have.

Do you use open sights or go with a scope?

I rarely get busted too. I used the Fresh Earth Scent Waffers for a long time with good success. My wife hates that smell. Then I stopped using them and used an ozone generator that I believe the deer can smell the ozone scent.

I've gone in the woods trying to be scent free and also done it using cover scent. Over the years, it seems I am seeing more deer using a cover scent. I know to hunt the wind but was just wondering if anybody has a seen a difference one way or the other?

I carry my wallet with me in my gear bag. My truck keys are a different story. I leave them hid close by. If something happens to my bag, at least I can make it home.

I shot my first hog the other day using my crossbow. I was using the Excalibur x-act broadhead. The bolt broke off and I later found the broadhead in the hog. The head still looks good but is there a way to make sure they are still sharp enough or should I just replace the blades?

I've heard of people using regular detergent that is scent and dye free. Anybody using that?

Do you wash your camo clothing in scent free detergent, use your own concoction or don't worry about it?

You can go to Nikons web site and use the Spot On guide. It will ask for the scope used, type of bolt, weight and speed.

Not a crossbow question but need some input. I bought some rubber snake boots last year and the black lowers smell like tires. I've tried everything to get rid of the odor. It's gone away a good bit but it's still there. Any ideas?
