Re: Swacker problem
Spoke to the swacker rep today. He was really shocked at the problem. Wanted to be sure I didn't have counterfeit heads. We talked about band placement. I'm doing everything correct, it's kinda hard to screw up. He's sending out new heads in 125gn and 150gn. Plus some more bands. He said that he guy...

Re: Swacker problem
You can make your own with proper sized shrink tubing. Make them whatever size works. Again i have never heard if this issue or had it happen to me. I did read on swhackers website high speed crossbows this may happen if blades have oil on them and it gets onto the bands making them stretch like el...

Re: Swacker problem
Sounds to me like bad bands. You could try dental bands. Are you having problems with the Ramcats? Billy I thought the white bands were stronger than dental bands? No, no problems with ramcats, I'd like to see a little bigger wound channel. There have been a few posts on this and other forums latel...

Swacker problem
Micro 355 shooting a zombie killer with the brass inserts and 125gn head at 319fps. I've shot ramcats for years, just wanted to try a larger wound channel BH. Grabbed some 125gn 2.25" swackers. The practice tip hits 100% perfect to 40 yds. Which is the longest shot I can practice. Tried a actua...

Swacker problem
Testing out some different Broadheads. I've been a ramcat guy for a few years but the grass is always greener... Any way micro 350 shooting 320fps. Zombie killers. 125gn bh. Got the practice tip dialed to 40 yds, longest space I have to shoot. 1" or so groups, nothing out of the ordinary. So I ...

Re: Stirring the pot...Broadhead opinion
Can any one give a count of how many animals theyve harvested with the BH? Lost any?

Stirring the pot...Broadhead opinion
:eusa-deadhorse: Let's keep this based on personal experience not internet lore :) What do you use, and why? I have used Rage before with great success, however stopped after a pass through that didn't open, it was a solid heart shot, the deer expired, but the head didn't open I know use ramcats. Th...

Re: Anyone using Ramcats?
I have with the compound, haven't tried with a xbow yet...waiting on my 125s. With a compound, the Ramcats shave the fletching off the fieldpoint arrows as they group. So yeah, same POIBig Pard wrote:How many of you have had the Ramcats shoot the same point of impact as the field points?

I've got one. Ive had it for a week now. Zeroed in nicely. Robin hoods bolts at 40yds. Trigger is nice. I can't really complain about a dam thing.

Anyone using Ramcats?
I know its subjective to a point, like ford or Chevy....
Ive had good luck with Ramcats in my compounds. Thinking of ordering some 125gns. What sort of arrow/inserts do you use? Looks like 110gn inserts on zombies at 16.5" is a good recipe? Shooting it from a micro 355

Re: School me on arrow weights
Clearly there are things that factor in, like wind, angle, etc. That was more hypothetical than actual. The spots that I hunt are all tight and 50yds is the long shot. Seems they'd jump the string anyway.
