Re: RAMCAT Terminal Performance on a Buck
Congratulations. I saw your post on Ramcats last year and did further digging. I bought a pack. Super accurate, deadly, and durable. Thanks!

Re: Is this going overboard?
Like many, I use scent free detergent, scent killer spray, carbon type clothing, and rubber boots when deer hunting. If I see deer poop, I step in it. I also spend a lot of time in the woods year around doing various things like keeping logging roads clear in the summer, planting and cutting food pl...

Nice. Those are some long, skinny legs on that one.

Re: buy from amazon
I wouldn't buy anything from Amazon for multiple reasons. First, they sell products (and do so directly rather than through an independent seller) that the manufactures claim they never sold to Amazon. Yes, they could buy from distributors but I've seen prices on Amazon below distributor/wholesaler ...

Re: Another Ramcat question
Whenever someone says they saw a broadhead perform horribly or witnessed the blades bending at the touch of a tissue, I wonder where that particular package of heads was bought. Because if it was bought off eBay or Amazon there is a good chance they bought Chinese fakes that won't perform as good as...

Re: Very slow rut for me so far
The big ones here never chased from what I have observed in person and on my trail cams. They went from hanging out with the boys to tending the girls. I've seen smaller bucks chasing does the last four days, though. But the big ones aren't running does down. They seem to just hook up with them with...

Re: Micro suppressor pics and vid
Looks nice, but why do I get the feeling people are going to buy that bow and then start taking the noise dampening accessories off in a quest for faster speeds. Lol

Re: Rethinking my shot??
Your first priority should be to respect the animal you are hunting. Respect the animal by taking high percentage shots that lead to the quickest death possible with as little pain and suffering as possible giving yourself the largest margin of error possible given the circumstances. Scopes get knoc...

Re: Favorite time of day to hunt?
On days during the rut when temps get no higher that 45-48* Fahrenheit, I love hunting between 11:00 am and 1:30 pm. The woods explodes with big bruisers cruising around and chasing does. Saw a big one at 11:45 yesterday in fact, even though temps had climbed past 50*. Otherwise I prefer mornings. W...

Re: Tag Soup.
I do realize how fortunate I am to be living in whitetail heaven. I have lived and hunted deer in south Louisiana and was amazed at the difference in the size of the deer and even the size of the deer tracks down there. Whenever I scouted, it seemed all I saw were tiny fawn tracks. Haha. I hit a mat...
