Yes we do have gun & late bow, just hard to believe that our 38 days of the early bow season is done. I think I might do same this year as last & use the crossbow in gun season.

Cat it seems to be the only alternative to use when they are facing you.l was really afraid he was gonna smell me n bolt .almost the same shot as last year. That's what all the summer practice is for lol.short recovery is also a bonus. If I remember you stated last year it seems to follow the spine...

Well for my area here in Pa. our last day of Crossbow Archery was Monday 11/12/18, but to add insult to injury here is trail cam picture at 8:34 on Sunday 11/11/18, & I saw him on Thursday 11/8/18 in the morning but would not come in, as seemed was on a mission but did get him to stop & look...

Last Thurs. afternoon shot a Doe that came into my Sentinel Decoys, as had my Ms. Feeding Doe & Buckles on duty. Here is a picture of me from trail cam going out with game cart with deer. Turned out to be one from this year.
