But it is the correct string

My bad Jansey, I see your one of them Canadians where y’all are used to settling for what you get.

Re: Do REDS make a diff under 340fps?
I presented facts too. But certainly it takes longer for the string to reach the point where it needs adjustment when you start so far over factory recommendations on the high end. It could take years to reach my selected height. So NO, the string ain’t stretching slower, and it ain’t taking longer ...

Re: Do REDS make a diff under 340fps?
So the string stretch rate is the same, its like a glass half empty -vs full situation. The ONLY thing that takes longer is getting to the brace height of my satisfaction I see it as taking too long to get it where I want it -vs how nice it was just to put twist in the string to match my brace heigh...

Re: Do REDS make a diff under 340fps?
Is the string the same spec material? (As per “Less adjusting”)
Is the higher brace height slowing the bolt down?
How is it easier on the bow?
Is it wrong for folk to want a string out of the box that will set right where you want it?

Re: Do REDS make a diff under 340fps?
I shot the bow today with new string and bumpers. A couple of things, This new string which some say is “shortened” will not sit any closer than 5/8” from the bumper with no twist (for now). Even at that great distance the string actually flexes that far to hit the bumpers, this surprised me. There i...

Re: Do REDS make a diff under 340fps?
Well, I got these things in today. I was surprised that both of them together including set screws only weigh 2 1/4 ounces. Can’t really get anymore minimalistic than that and still be functional.
I might try them tomorrow.

Man, I’m chuckling. I know you fellas might be on a first named basis but I ain’t got a clue who these folk are much less how to find a phone number. Thanks for any help. Is this the subject, and for the Grizzly right? https://www.wyverncreations.com/excalibur-accessories-c-121/micro-suppression-sys...

Re: Do REDS make a diff under 340fps?
Ok look, I watched the whole Dr. Stirrup bumper video. I’d like to try that but have a couple of concerns: I don’t mind the string touching the bumper and the whole thing makes sense but what if it ain’t at the brace height I want, does the reds shaft move in and out? Or, am I stuck with whatever br...

Re: Do REDS make a diff under 340fps?
How would it make brace height easier? I have mine marked too with a hacksaw groove on the side and white appliance paint. I really hate to add much weight to the bow. Does it do anything beneficial for the string, my last string lasted 4 years and was still in good shape, admittedly I don’t target ...

Do REDS make a diff under 340fps?
Whats the real advantage, the cons?
I personally don’t use them but have to wonder the true effects. I’ll even give them a whirl if it seems like a plus.
How much does a set weigh?

Re: Matrix string stretch?
Well, I shoot this particular grizzly (my favorite) much farther than 30 yards on many occasions. Even take hogs out to 60-70 yards. This little underrated setup is like my beloved 44 or 30 WCF Leveraction, all you need for everything, git-r-done. I’m not a stick bow hunter either, I actually choose...
