Re: Quivers. On or off or other?

It's funny, I was about to post the same question. I loved the idea of quiver on bow until I tried to use it in a hunting situation. It made the use of a sling awkward. It also made the use of a shooting rail awkward. I plan to zip tie my quiver to the outside of my pack. This has worked well with m...

Re: A dandy 9 point with my new Matrix 380

Thanks again guys. I was using a NAP spitfire 125 grain. Entry and exit wounds were very impressive. Pretty easy to track. Probably should of cleaned him up a bit before the pic.

Re: A dandy 9 point with my new Matrix 380

Thanks for the congrats and help with the pic posting. It was a good morning for watching deer behavior. The smaller buck that followed my buck in didn't seem to mind the noise created by the shot. He wandered around for several minutes after the shot but freaked out when he came upon the downed 9 p...

Re: A dandy 9 point with my new Matrix 380

I am more than happy to show off my buck. Let me talk to my kids and see if they can show me how to post a pic.

A dandy 9 point with my new Matrix 380

My first sit with the new Matrix 380 lasted about 15 minutes. Just after first light this past Sunday, a 9 pointer strolled in and gave me a broadside shot at 20 yards. After a double lung shot he went about 80 yards and went down for good. This is my biggest buck to date and I couldn't be happier w...

Re: Tact Zone scope magnification question

Thanks for the response. I would have thought that the fps/speed ring should be left alone once sighted in.

Tact Zone scope magnification question

I have read that the Tact Zone has a 2.5-6 magnification range. Now that I'm looking at it, the scope seems to be fixed and not variable. What am I missing? What is the actual magnification? I am guessing 2.5
Thanks

Re: R.E.D.S. suppressor question

Thanks for all of the help guys. I shot about a half dozen bolts tonight. It was tough to put it down but I didn't want to shoot much until I got my rail lube and string wax. Bunch of accessories on the way. Hopefully will be all set up by this weekend.
Thanks again

Re: R.E.D.S. suppressor question

Thanks for the response Boo. Looks like I may need to shoot some before I consider sighting in to allow the string to relax/stretch a bit.
