Re: The original Exocet
The cast risers were on the Exocet 165 and some of the early 175 models for the first year or two they were manufactured then the machined risers were put on the Exocet 175. The jump from 165 pounds to 175 came with lengthening the rail from 15" on 165 to 15.5" on Exocet 175. The Exocet 20...

Re: The original Exocet
Elf
I believe the Exocet 165 was 1992-2000
Exocet 175 was 2001-2004.
Exocet 200 is 2005 to present.
Someone please correct me If I'm mistaken on any ages.
As I could be off by a year on them but pretty close I think.

Re: Reunited with an old flame!
Well I'm really she took you back.
That's a real fine Exocet 165.
Exactly the same as mine.
Can't wait for this fall to try and get another kill under her belt.
Enjoy it and be sure to post your harvest pictures with her.

Re: What Scope Caps to Order?
Shaftthrower what sizes did the varizones take?. I'm looking at the butler creek black and Bushwacker scope covers made by quake. The eye piece of the shadow zone seems larger in size than the varizone I had compared mine too. Has anyone in Canada ordered either of these scope cap brands online? Tha...

Re: What Scope Caps to Order?
I agree that getting snow and rain out of the lense housing is very annoying and hard to do while still taking care of the scope lense. That is the main reason for going to a flip up cap. But now my question is if its snowing or raining hard enough that you have to wipe the scope cap clean to take a...

Re: What Scope Caps to Order?
I have used the clear butler creek blizzards and was not a fan of them. To me it seemed almost like the field of view was smaller with the caps closed and I had a hard time focusing on any target weather it was a quick acquisition or a bench shooting session. The time it took me to focus on the targ...

What Scope Caps to Order?
Looking for opinions on scope caps to put on my Shadow Zone Something that will stay on to protect the lenses from the elements and dust and dirt build up. I want solid Matte Black caps not the see through ones. What is everyone running on their scopes? Sizes and compnay for the end caps if possible...

Does anyone know the scope cap sizes for the Shadow Zone?
I know the objective would be the same as the varizone what about the eye piece?
Thanks

Re: Carved Tip Exocet
Actually another really nice Exocet 165 just popped up on eBay too. Once again advertised as a 200 pounder. Someone will get a smokin good deal on no reserve auction and pick up only In Illinois. Heads up for any Illinois collectors. Just giving a heads up on this im in no way affiliated with the se...

Re: Help!! Fletching getting ripped off.
Well glad you seemed to have it figured out.
I only suggested the black plastic pieces because the picture seemed to look like having more than one vane torn after one shot taken.
Enjoy the bow

Re: Help!! Fletching getting ripped off.
The black plastic tabs that are sticking into the riser channel are what's tearing your fletching. Trim them back so they are flush with the sides of the channel with a sharp knife. The site base shouldn't be touching the fletchings unless something is really not lined up. Let us know how it works o...
