Re: New 2020 Bows!

I have to agree that the take-down models do not interest me in the least.

Re: Are harvest numbers down ?

Missouri youth season was last weekend and there were a little over 5k MORE deer harvest this year than last year, something like 18k total harvest in one weekend. Harvest numbers are definitely not down in my state. I took a small buck with my Micro 355 about two weeks ago. Nothing to brag about, s...

Re: Bow Accident, What Next?

Ok, even with the local archery shop offering $650 on the dealer version of the Axe, when you consider sales tax that puts me just a hair over $700. I can order the same thing from Wyvern for $700 and get free shipping, 6 Dragon Claw arrows (instead of the 3 that come from the factory), and a packag...

There's a Matrix 310 for sale over at CT classifieds for $375. Jump on it!
I think I want to stick with the Micro platform. But thanks for the heads up.

Re: Bow Accident, What Next?

I noticed that the Quill arrows on the Axe had Black Eagle on their decal. The Quills that came with my 355 were made by Easton. Are the Black Eagle Quills the norm now? I’d feel a lot more excited about the bow if I knew I could buy factory Excal arrows that were made by Black Eagle instead of East...

Re: Bow Accident, What Next?

I just stopped by my local archery shop and he had the new Axe in stock, the dealer version in Kryptek for $699. I explained my situation and he said he’d take $650 cash. Is that What they are generally selling for or is that somewhat of a deal?

Re: IWOM HUNTING SYSTEM

My neighbor has one and he swears by it. My dad has something he calls a “heater body suit” that sounds similar and he swears by it too.

Re: Bow Accident, What Next?

Wait...I saw videos of a Micro being dragged behind an ATV and holding zero. So you are telling me running it over with an ATV caused that much damage? :eusa-naughty: Did you run it over, and back over it multiple times? All kidding aside, that sucks and you’re a braver man than me to admit t...

Re: Bow Accident, What Next?

Thanks everyone. I’ve priced out the Tact Zone scope, new rings, and new string to be $250 and that’s not counting the limb repair. I’ve been out of the crossbow shopping market for several years so I’ll have to get reacquainted with the new models. I’m not a hardcore bow hunter, I just like reliabl...

Bow Accident, What Next?

Hey everyone, I had a slight accident with my Micro 355 a few nights ago on a hunt. I shot a small buck right before dark. After I gave him time, I started looking for the blood trail in the woods. Like I always do, I laid by bow down on the ground where I first found the blood trail so I would have...

Re: New Micro 335 Owner

That might actually be good advice. I know I want to try a mechanical at some point, but I'm going to be anxious to get my new bow sighted in and to get in the stand. The Slick Tricks are cheaper and if they will do the job with less work, then I should probably just go that route this year and wait...

Re: New Micro 335 Owner

Or my other option is to just shoot the factory 150gr field points that come on the arrows and then use a Slick Trick 150gr fixed broadhead instead of the mechanical. Would I be better off getting a little more FPS and using the 125gr mechanical or would it be just as well to shoot a 150gr fixed bro...

Re: New Micro 335 Owner

Thanks guys. So will it be alright to use the Carbon Express field points instead of the Excalibur brand?

What about the 125gr Killzone broadhead?
