Re: Wanted =Honest opinions on Hawke scope.
I feel the XB-30 pro sr was a definite upgrade from the Tac-zone that came on my micro. I've compared it to a leupold VX1 and 2 I have on rifles and it's clearer than the VX1 and on par with the VX2... My eyes... Wyvern creations was by far the best price I could find and awesome people to deal with.

Re: Hawke XB30 Pro sr?
I'm shooting BEE arows made for the micro from wyvern creations. Brass inserts and 100 grain point. Arrows cut down to 15 3/4. 398 grains total. 333 fps.SEW wrote:What is the configuration of your arrow? High drag arrows will use lower #s than actual launch speed and visa versa.

Re: Hawke XB30 Pro sr?
This is normal, the speed ring is not a true indicator or measurement of speed. The speed ring actually controls the variable power or magnification of the scope, the speed numbers are just a rough estimate or setting guide. Just seems a little "rougher" than I'd of guessed on a fairly ex...

Hawke XB30 Pro sr?
Is it normal for the speed ring to be WAYYY off? My Micro 355 is shooting 333 fps and the scope has to be on 290 for for the yard incriminates to work.

Re: A little experiment with original limbs vs blemish
I had to replace the limbs on my Micro a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised when they hit exactly the same spot! How much does a set of blemished limbs usually run? Any idea if they always have them on hand? As for the whole blemished thing, I've never been too impressed with the finish on E...

Micro/TriggerTech
I just finished up installing a Triggertech on my Micro 355. I was holding off since fall, because I was already pretty happy with the factory trigger, and heard a few people comment it didn't make much of a difference. I was worried I'd be wasting my money and wouldn't be able to tell the differenc...

Re: Putting new limbs on a micro?
Put the new limbs back on without a problem. Was a bit surprised, but I didn't have to adjust my scope at all. Still spot on out to 30 yards. Thanks for the help!

Putting new limbs on a micro?
New limbs are in the mail for my Micro 355, should be here tomorrow. What's the process for putting them back on? Which bolts get tightened first? Main bolt first, then tighten the two smaller bolts with the cross bracket till snug? Thanks!

Re: 2017 Micro Suppressor?
I don't have the micro suppressor, but I do have the micro 355 which is close enough to tell you you'll love it! I'm pretty much in the same boat as you with reasons for switching. Love to shoot 3D and love my vertical bows, but had a pretty bad arm injury in late summer that I'm still dealing with....

Re: What ya got for Binoculars?
Thanks for all the responses. After doing some research I think I will go with the Vortex Diamondback 10x42 Roof Prism Binoculars. The price seems right combined with Vortex's unconditional warranty, I think I will give them a shot. Look into 8x a little. 10x actually detracts from the experience o...

Re: What ya got for Binoculars?
Don't be tempted by the zen-rays... They're amazing glass for the money, but I'm currently dealing with bad customer service because Ed3's broke. They're supposed to have a lifetime no fault warranty, but it's not working out so well. I wouldn't be surprised if they're on the way to going under. No ...

Re: Great/bad day for the Micro.
Maybe take a good " high resolution " picture of the limb and the effected area and email it too Customer Service... asking if they can get a new set comming in the mail with the promise of returning yours as soon as the new set arrives :?: ... that may allow you to continue hunting until...

Thanks!Hunt it wrote:Cut it off with xacto knife sand lightly with some wet and dry and keep hunting. Get it fixed after season over. I have had several over the years and biggest worry is getting pricked with splinter so I cut off and sand.
