Twilight DLX or Tact Zone

Hello, I have a M355 with a Tact Zone scope and I must say I like it and have had good success. My longest shot using this combo on a deer was 55 yrds in good light conditions and it was a good hit. And a tasty deer! I had the lighted reticule on and it does help aging eyes even in the middle of the...

Re: Aluminum Axiom vs Phoenix

So it looks like the main difference is that the aluminum frame axiom had different camo, plain green quiver and no dissipator bars? Other than that are the functional specs the same between the bows? I see the SMF matches the Phoenix functional specs and the synthetic rail was made to lower the ent...

Aluminum Axiom vs Phoenix

Hello, A friend just bought a nice used aluminum Axiom off ebay. I told him I thought that when the Axiom went synthetic the Phoenix was introduced to fill the aluminum 175 void but I was not sure. Functionally it appears that the Axiom SMF and the Phoenix are the same bows but I cannot find any spe...

Re: Letting Them Walk

Congrats on a very nice buck. The second week of November I passed on seven bucks that were 6pt or smaller before finally seeing the 10pt I harvested. We have plenty of doe available for freezer meat around here. You can't kill a big buck if you are at home processing a small one. After processing ...

Re: Your favorite.

Have to say I love my Matrix 355 but who knows next year. Don't see how you can go wrong with any. If I had to only keep one of mine with no possibly of repair parts I guess I would choose the Vortex. Out of my bows it should be easiest on the serving and limbs and the scope is a verizone, so no bat...

Re: Letting Them Walk

Mature body size is all I look for. We don't have many real big racks in this area. The older they get helps with the rack size though. This is not only the best way to fill the freezer but it also is most likely the best method available to the average hunter for population management. We have 6-8...

Re: Letting Them Walk

I bought an Excalibur Equinox this summer and I've been very impressed with it. Shot 3 mature does so far this season. It has 225 pound draw weight and it is awesome! But I've also been wondering about the 405. Would it shoot hard enough to go right through a shoulder blade? I know there are so man...

This is a great reason to name a bow. :)

Re: Reasons we sold Prior Excals ?

Sold my Axiom to fund a M355. Then bought an Equinox just because it's so freakin awesome and I still had the big case which just could not stay empty. It was lonely and just seemed wrong. The other day while shopping for a Vortex, because 'I always wanted one', (Just let the name roll around in you...
