I saw one at an auction awhile back and it said on the barrel " 22 short " so I assumed that was all you could shoot in it. Fine looking rifle Joe I would have liked to have the one I saw but my pockets were not near...

I go in using no scents wearing rubber boots and try not to touch anything. When a deer comes in I want it to think it's business as usual! :)
I do this. If the wind isn't right for me to walk in, I don't go.

This time of year it is afternoon all the way. Earlier in the season I'd have to say mornings.

Re: O/T Shotgun Turkey Hunters

Use what you want . But if using beads remember to get that cheek down on the stock . Many a turkeys life has been spared by a angry swarm of 5`s sailed over the head . Kinda thinking about starting with #5 shot from reading this & that, anyone have suggestions for brand, size, etc. :eusa-p...

Re: Team Realtree Broadheads ?

I don't do much walmart shopping but when I can get my muzzleloader powder for less than 1/2 price of anywhere else, I'm in. Found abunch of real good steel shotshells last year and between their clearance price and a rebate I found I can't pass up 3" Drylocks for 6 bucks a box.

Re: Team Realtree Broadheads ?

I don't mean that as a slam, but remember, it's only a sale if you really need it! Over the last few years I have been very lucky to get another chance at life, and finally started giving away stuff I never will use. I am amazed at how much stuff I have accumulated over the years, and how much was ...

Re: Which heated vest??

I've worn the Duck oven goose hunting when it has been around 0 with a pretty stiff wind, all I had on was a heavy base layer a sweatshirt and that coat. Stayed plenty warm wearing that with a good neck gaiter and wool beanie, I tried xxl which is what I normally wear and it was abit tight so went w...

Re: Which heated vest??

Havn't looked at the heated vests but I'm guessing they are not cheap. I'd think for similar money you could get into some Sitka clothing. All I have at the moment is the duck oven coat but I've heard their fanatic series is even warmer and the DO is stupid warm and light weight. If ya watch end of ...
