Re: cocking aid for y25 stock?
I've used the but plate as an anchor with no problems. That said I agree, that this is a bow best used as a display rather than a work horse

Re: Bulldog 400 Chronograph Results
Their claim to fame on this bow was 400 fps why even advertise speed then. Bulldog 380 $1099. Bulldog 400 $1299. Because of the speed the price goes up. Its like buying a truck you buy a V8 and your only getting the performance of a V-6. I get what you're saying the draw for me to this bow was the ...

Re: Bulldog 400 Chronograph Results
They advertise that number because the industry forces them too. First of all it's an unrealistic number because no one is going to be using arrow that light. I'm sure you didn't buy this to be a target bow so do you hunt with a 350gr arrow? And neither does the majority if not everyone that bought ...

Re: Why so much upgrading??
Sew First of you have to realize where we are. We are all so obsessed with crossbows that if we have any free time we cone here and read and write about them. : ) I understand your point though in wondering why one hasn't found a " keeper" yet. I think that most here have but there are the...

Re: Bulldog 400 Chronograph Results
What was the remedy for that situation? I am working with Peter now on a similar situation with my crossbow I'm only getting 385 feet per second out of a bulldog 400 with the highest deflection limbs Excalibur makes just curious what they did for you? This absolutely amazes me. What will 15 more fp...

Re: Excalibur's core four
I guess I'll answer my own question. I know I have read this before but had forgotten about it. Just happened to stumble on it tonight. From the FAQ'S What model crossbows did Excalibur make in the past? The first model was the Relayer which I made virtually by hand and every one was an individual. ...

Excalibur's core four
There is a thread in the TP about the value of the older excal models. I posted about how I am surprised at the low demand for these. Not necessarily these carved tip examples because although most of them can still hold their own, they are usually delegated to collector status, but the later mag ti...

Re: First crossbow, I joined the club 350 SE
That pic got me excited. I know a lot of guys ( Fletcher's ? )that build a really good arrow and I wouldn't hesitate to shoot any of them when it counts. But Jerry's just have a little something extra. Imo you won't find better and your right, super easy to deal with and an all around good dude. Ps....

Your welcome Mark. Just be careful with it. I think it should be ok but let's be 100% sure before you start cranking.

Re: The Number 1 most customized deadly Excalibur Crossbow
Re the weight. I just threw on a Harris bipod for the heck of it. It's coming in at just about nine even. Now my kodas won't feel left out : ) Eg , I'm not sure where you lay your head but be careful with that light. Some wardens don't take kindly to them. deep in the wilderness in northern alberta...
