Re: No Hunting!!

Too bad it seems you may not have enough time to see if you could bring a buddy to hunt with you and demonstrate that both of you are good risks as hunting guests.

Re: Never happen to me

Your post reminded me of a few others I seen over the years. One was of a fellow whose hand was stuck full of carbon fibre shards after firing an arrow that had developed fractures. It shattered and stabbed him. He had failed to check his arrows. Another was of a fellow who failed to remove an arrow...

Replace with torx head screws. They are the most strip resistant.

Re: Dan Miller stringing aid

Could be that the person who originated the thread hasn't noticed your post. Could be that others who answered don't have current information but tried to help by giving you the means to get the information. That's probably the explanation. However, maybe folks were also being respectful of our host...

Good stuff!

It seems you have things well thought out.

Might not want to leave your ladder behind, though. They are pretty darned resourceful.

Re: Coons = denied, Coon proof bear bait

As long as one of them doesn't figure out that he can climb the tree. walk out on the frame, and then drop down onto the barrel....(don't remember seeing a barrel lid.)
Cuz if he figures it out, he'll tell everybody else.

Re: Excalibur TrailBlazers

I wonder when the sellers from the People's Republic of Knockoffistan will be selling this product on Ebay? Should be safe for a little while yet, I guess.

Thanks. That makes sense.

(I did acknowledge that it might be a dumb question)

Re: Excalibur TrailBlazers

My question may be dumb, but please bear with me. What does gluing open the blades on a mechanical broadhead prove? Other guys have mentioned that before, but I hesitated to announce my ignorance by asking the question. Arrow flight of a deployed broadhead should not be the same as an undeployed bro...

Re: Excalibur TrailBlazers

I didn't realize they would be available in 100 grain. I wonder how they pared down the weight from the 150 grain version? Aluminum alloy?

Re: Suggestion for a feeder

Boo The solution is simple. Don't limit yourself to one feeder. Set up another feeder, but in the second one use stuff that bears like, but doesn't draw in deer. Set it up a good distance from your first feeder. I know you know what I'm referring to. I bet you know some people who have young childre...

Re: Shout Out to Boo!!

Well, I guess I'd have to admit that Don is a pretty good guy. He does, however, have a shameless, raunchy sense of humour. I know that because we each exchange some stuff and try to embarrass the other. Hasn't worked yet. Darned Covid. I was hoping to meet him in person at the Boofest and pass on t...

Re: Hunting show pet peeves!!

Folks, folks, you are watching the WRONG hunting shows.

For real, honest to goodness, REALITY hunting, watch Steven Rinella in his Meat Eater series.
