It Won't Get Any Better Than This.... Edit Report Quote Post by Hi5 » Sun Sep 22, 2019 1:35 pm It won't get ANY better than this, is what I said to myself. I was sitting in a ladder stand overlooking an oat field. It was a small field that narrowed down into a neck and I was at the end of the ne...

Re: The Stork Has Arrived

Looking at your scopeless bow, it reminds me that I wish that all Excalibur bows had a picatinny rail instead of weaver rail. I went to considerable expense to have the weaver system machined off and considerable effort to attach a picatinny rail. (I wanted to mount a high end military sight) Nice l...

Thanks for posting that link.

CWD is a serious concern, but panic measures against it aren't the answer.

Re: Axe 340 Kryptec & MOBUC Camo Pics

It DOES look good, Comfy. What do you think it will do that any one of the other five Excalibur bows you presently own won't do? ----Says the guy who started with the Exocet, (still have it); an ExoMag,( still have it); Matrix 405 version, (still have it); and Micro 355, (still have it). Logic is su...

"If it was cosmetic wouldn't it have been present before and not getting bigger and forming new ones ?" Not at all. Cosmetic stuff is the surface coating , and that can let go at any time, without any concern about the functionality of the limb. It is more likely to happen most noticeably on a new l...

Re: New Study Finds a Modest Carbon Tax Would Hurt All Humanity for Two Generations

Earth's climate has never been unchanging, right from the moment after earth had a climate. There's a pretty big land mass located between Newfoundland and Norway. It's covered with snow a large portion of the year, but for some reason it's not called Snowland. The ancient people must have had a per...

Re: OT - rant about shipping costs

Order something on Ebay from China and it's a good chance it"s "shipping included". Takes five weeks though to arrive.

I wonder where the high price is coming from in crossing the Canada/US border. Canada Post? Or USPS?

Re: Tick removal tool

Where I live we infrequently get ticks. I like the idea behind that device, though.

Do you think it could be redesigned as a scaled up model? Might it work to get rid of Trudeau?

Re: Beginner / youth crossbow modifications

Hmmmm What's the odds of that red plastic arrow channel being removed without damage? You manufactured some picatinny rail, how about a new arrow channel? An arrow channel with finger guard running straight and far enough back to enable rope cocking? Or would that interfere with other functions? If ...

Re: Beginner / youth crossbow modifications

What Boo said...you don't need the mechanical advantage offered by a rope cocker, that's for sure. However, it would eliminate the uneven draw on each limb.

By the way, what a varied skill set we have of people who post here. What a blend of space age technology with medieval technology.

Re: Clunking Noise While loading Micro 355/C2 Crank

Hmmmm. It must be a risky or delicate process, or you'd think something would be posted here by now. The complaint has been raised here more than once, although this is the first time I've read anything about a factory solution. Most crossbowers are somewhat handy, and I'd bet they would do their ow...

Re: Clunking Noise While loading Micro 355/C2 Crank

Call Excalibur. They have a fix for it but you have to send it in. I wanted a silent crank so I could cock the bow in the stand and mine now does not do that at all. Judging from other posts you have made, I would conclude that you are a scientifical kind of guy. :D What do you think they did?

Re: Hogs in Ontario?

Reinyrooster......".hunters may kill these pigs under authority of a small game licence." It may seem a minor point, but NO hunting Licence ought to be required. If you are using a firearm, only a P.A.L should be involved. If it's a naturally occurring animal, a licence for hunting would be normal. ...
