Wack a couple pythons while you're there. Looks like there's tons of them.

Re: My Next Toy
Recurve or longbow I love the sound of a well released arrow. After shooting both as well as compounds I decided to see how difficult it is to make an efficient all wood bow. I know have 16 bows of oak maple ipe bamboo and hickory. My 66in hickory longbow at 55lb is my favorite with a homemade arrow...

Re: Last bow hunt of the season for me
Doc says my broken vertebrae have mended but still have a torn rotator cuff to deal with. Been getting out about once a week. Still sore but tired of sitting around watching TV. Had forkhorn and 26 turkeys walk past this afternoon. Tough getting to the stands but I've got to keep trying.

Used to be a warden in Ogle county that was a real prick. Tried every trick in the book to catch us doing wrong never did. The state is so much in debt know they'll do anything for money..

I saw a doe that looked the same way 2 years ago. Seemed like a reaction to what she was eating.

Re: ATTN: Old stubborn men on this site!
I hunted over 55 years and probably used a harness 3 times now I'm sitting here with cracked ribs and 3 broken vertebrae on opening day. Stand was strapped chained and lag bolted to tree. Dropped out from under me like a trap door after I sat there for a half hour. Go the safe route. I'm lucky I can...

Never happen to me
My buddy and I went out to trim shooting lanes Sunday finished 3 stands and I climbed the 4th after directing the trimming I stood to get down. The next thing I knew I was riding in an ambulance after falling 22feet. Strap broke and stand dropped like a trap door. Cracked ribs 3broken vertebrae and ...

Re: Rage hypodermic nc and rage crossbow x in 125 grain
I shot a doe with the 150 hypo last year, amazing blood trail. One blade hit a rib and broke. Entry and exit wounds were huge.

Re: How often do you practice?
I mainly shoot to confirm that everything is functioning correctly and scope is dead on. My excalibur is a killing machine but I still love the sight of a homemade wooden bow and arrow with my own flint knapped arrowhead hitting the mark. Still dream of living in primitive times and what it took to ...

Re: Broadhead selection
I used the boltcutters with good results and tried rage trypan 150 gr. Last year keeping with the heavier foc entry and exit wounds were huge I could have followed blood trail with my eyes closed. 1 blade did break from hitting bone.
