Re: Dicks sporting goods and excalibur bows
You are about 45 minutes from Woody's. GO THERE. Buy the sneakers golf whatever at Dick's that you like. My point is I wish Excalibur would cut ties with chain stores. Even locally is Lancaster Archery, they carry Excalibur but don't know anything about them. Without a doubt there are many good cros...

Re: Please tell me about your Micro 355"s
I have the suppressor and really like it. Took a 160# bear that only went 10-15 yards. I'm using the stock quills and 150 grain boltcutters. I guess the strength needed to cock it is dependent on your body strength but I didn't find it to be a problem. When I do a 40 target 3D shoot I generally take...

Re: Rope Cocking Aid
I shortened the 315 but the Suppressor works fine as stock.

Re: Broad Heads Decisions Bear Hunt
It worked. We headed out Saturday morning and showed up at Cooper Camp Saturday evening. Had a good meal, caught a few pike Sunday morning and after a good lunch headed out to the stand about 1;30 Sunday afternoon. I followed the guide out on my atv for about 15 miles of dirt road to the stand. I d...

Shout Out For Woody's
I just wanted to let everyone know that Woody's in Wernersville Pa is good folks to deal with. Their prices are fair and the are a service center for Excalibur. I had a bad limb and dropped it off and got a call the next day it was done. I may have gotten lucky but went to the range and shot 20,30,4...

Thanks folks. It's going to be the Suppressor and Bolt Cutters. They hit much harder. I let you know how it works.

Re: Micro suppressor vs micro 355 vs 335
As Vixen said it's a personal choice and you will know in a few months if you made the wrong one. Or you'll know what you want next. It will never be perfect. You never mentioned pull weight. If that doesn't bother you consider the Suppressor. You can pull the rubbers off and have your own baby. ( I...

Broad Heads Decisions Bear Hunt
OK, this is a tired subject and I read alot of posts on here and am still undecided. So here is the situation. I have a Micro 315 and harvested a deer with the X Act mechanicals.I have been using the 100 grain field tips with this bow and it doesn't seem to mind. Since then I got a Suppressor and it ...

3D Shoot
I went to the local range today for a 3D shoot. Driving in there was a gobbler strutting for a hen right on the rifle range. At registration they told us they had 2 gobblers and found one shot a few weeks ago before season. If you are going to shoot a turkey illegally, atleast take it home and eat i...

Re: Another Great Cus/Service Post. I'm smelling like a Rose
I have bought alot of optics over the years.I bought cheap and higher mid range and pretty much decided Leupold is the only company you need. They bought Redfield and it isn't Leupold. I have a Nikon that isn't bad but the Rifleman is better.I put a Crossbones on the 315 from day one. I switched the ...

Re: Micro 355 ?
I'll help as much as I can being new to crossbows.I bought a Micro 315 last year not really knowing anything but I liked the idea of small and recurve. And killed a whitetail at 47 yards.Further than I planned to shoot and misjudged the distance but the 315 shoots well. I recently bought a suppresso...

Re: Suppressor Trigger
OK, we were shooting far by American and Canadian standards. Trust me it hurts to say but you Canadians built a better crossbow than us. I never knew Canada had carrots.I thought Canadians eat Tofu , Fish and Bear. Depending where you live.
I hope this is all in fun.

Re: Suppressor Trigger
I went out yesterday and shot with my friend who bought a Suppressor at the same time. His trigger was significantly better than mine out of the box. However my TT is significantly better than his. I love this bow and plan to keep it for a long time. So I'm guessing I got a Monday morning trigger an...

Re: Why so much upgrading??
I noticed a large number of hunters on this forum have switched from stock trigger to a trigger tech trigger. I'm pretty new to excalibur crossbows are the trigger techs that much better and why? In my short experience triggers can vary, I bought a Micro 315 last summer and the trigger was nice,it ...
