Re: new owner

I just started crossbow hunting this past fall, and I had 3 crossbows in two months! My first was a Barnett. The limb broke the second day that I had it. They repaired it, but I sold it as soon as I got it back! While the Barnett was being repaired, I bought a Killer Instinct 350. It was rea...

Re: Anyone else seeing this?

Yes. That's me today trying to get it back to 2998 at least. I've lost over 80 posts numbers in couple months. Don't know how or why. Then build it back up, and bingo, down it goes again. WEIRD! :? Why is this such an issue? Is there some reason that there even needs to be a post count? Is ...

Re: Had the ghost blind out this weekend

I've always wanted one, but the price tag is just not in my budget, but Ive always wanted to sit in a cornfield that's just been cut, watching the deer walk in to me. Same here. I'd buy one if they weren't so expensive. Ghost Blind must have a huge profit margin. I don't think it is so huge. There ...

Re: Favorite ladder stand

My favorite stand is a 20' ladder stand that has a flip up seat and a shooting rail. The flip up seat is nice when I want to stand up for a while. I don't often use the shooting rail as a rest, but I use it to conceal myself by hanging camo netting from it.

I wouldn't pay $9 either! Mine was included in a BowJax crossbow kit that also included lim...

I may have missed it as I quickly read through the previous comments....but is this process being done to eliminate the use of rail lube?

Re: Insert Removal

On carbon arrows, I just clamp a field tip in my vice, heat it up until the threads are red, then screw the arrow on it a ways and then pull the insert right out. It's easy, and better than trying to heat up the field tip while it is in the arrow.
