Sorry Patmax, I've only hunted from a tree stand, never from a ground blind. So I guess I can't make an honest opinion. SURVEY: Ameristep vs Double Bull - who is best????

I'm going to buy a popup ground blind before next season. I thought this would be a good thread for the forum to discuss. I realize that Ameristep blinds are less expensive. If someone has a different brand that they feed is better or comparable to those listed please discuss them. If you prefer the...

comment removed My comments had nothing to do with President Bush - I read this forum for hunting information and not politcal advise - thank GOD. I am definitely offeded by the comments made by JeffOwen and Silver using my quote. I'll stick to the hunting info in the future. I appologize to the for...

I am absolutely happy with my Exocet 175 lb . I bought it during the summer of 2004 and we took 4 deer with it in the 2004-05 season (3 for me and 1 by a friend). Our weather was so mild in South Texas this past season (2005-2006) that I only hunted one evening. I double lunged a small doe and shot ...

Texas, yes.
Baiting is legal and automatic feeders and free choice feeders are big business... Yet we still have a very high deer population.

I cast feed by hand and find that the deer get accustomed to me as you can tell by the pictures I have previously posted.

I'm surprised the dog does not chase after them??? Will he trail them during hunting season? Partikle Max is a 9 month old Austrailian Kelpie. I've had him for five months now and hope to work sheep trials with him. He's very smart and responds to the following commands: sit, down, stay, come-by (c...
