I guess since no one wants to hunt exotics - those of us who have them will have to put them on birth control pills like the zoos are doing so we don't have so many. Careful, boys, that's what the animal rights people like PETA want to do with our beloved deer as well - put them on birth control pil...

Couldn't you range the base of the tree from the stand - then range the target and shoot based on the difference? ie; If the tree stand is 20 feet high and the target is 20 yards (60 ft.) then the effective shot is 40ft/3= 13.334 yards. A calculator in the stand would be nice. THIS IS WHY I SHOOT F...

Grilled Venison Teriyaki
I like to take either a venison backstrap or an eye of round and cut it into 1/2 inch slices. Then marinade the meat in a mixture of Teriyaki Sauce and Olive Oil. Sometimes I will even add a dash of Curry Powder which compliments the venison like it does lamb. My mix for a pound of venison will usua...

I bought the Bushnell Yardage Pro® Trophy Laser Rangefinder at http://www.eBinoculars.com back on January 20 for 164.99 including shipping. It seems to be a good piece of equipment. patmax PS: I just checked their site and apparently the price has gone up. The Yardage Pro® Trophy is currently shown ...

thepredator, Your best bet is the Vixen in deerhide brown for $329.00 US. That is the best price new I have seen. Shoot it with the fiber optic site that comes with it and you will have your ten point if you keep your shot distance within 30 yards. Wabi makes a good point - you can buy junk that put...

All I got out of this article is: don't feed the deer if you are going to do it too late, with too little feed, with feed that does not have the proper nutrition. They don't know what causes CWD. I'm glad I'm in Texas - I plan to keep feeding a mix of corn and 20% deer chow. I feed more in high stre...
