Re: Noisy trigger system

Well guys,my report on the noise of my crossbow after the 2017 is "inconclusive." I only saw one buck I wanted to shoot, and he never gave me a good shot. So, my excalibur was extremely quiet this season and no deer jumped the string. It was 5 below zero on December 27 when I was antlerles...

Re: Noisy trigger system

[Why don't you call them to find out what was done?[/quote] I did call Excalibur Customer service, and by giving them my RMA # they were able to track down the service on my Eclipse. An "upgraded trigger" was installed, as well as the rubber pads that are supposed to cushion and silence th...

It appeared to me that the trigger had been replaced, but there was no written report on what had been done, nor had I ever go...

Re: Noisy trigger system

Sent my bow (minus limbs and scope) to an Excalibur dealer in Pennsylvania yesterday. Shipping cost was only 12 bucks, which included insurance. I'm cautiously optimistic that my bow will be less noisy when I get it back!

Re: Noisy trigger system

Re: Paralax in scopes

To me, parallax in a scope is the distance between the crosshairs when viewed through the tube, and the center of the bore (arrow) below it. If you aim at a bullseye at 10 feet, your shot will hit low because of the height of the scope's reticle above the arrow. When you sight in, you are making the...

Noisy trigger system

New member to this forum, so please bear with me. I bought my first (and only) crossbow in 2012, the Eclipse XT from Cabelas. Could not have been happier with its accuracy and ease of use. Took an 8 point buck at 33 yds in 2014, and was surprised at how much the deer turned in reaction to my shot. H...
