Yes sir, September 1st is our opening day of dove also. I take my daughter out of school that day so she can shoot with me and Dad. I love all type of bird hunting; ducks, geese, phesant, quail but dove is by far the fastest action there is not to mention great table fare.

I strung my old Exocet for years by hand without a problem. Then I bought the Exocet 200 and after stringing it 2 or 3 times and a hernia operation (LOL) I bought a stringer. All I can say Crazyfarmer is that I should have bought one years ago. Made it so much more simplier; even on the old Exocet. ...

My Mom never knew where I was or what I was doing with my friends. And it wasn't because she didn't care or worry I think she knew it was pa...

Dad and I use 4 ladder stands plus we have 2 pop-up type ground blinds. The thing we like most about the ladder type stands are how sturdy and comfortable they are. Also they are very quite and we feel the safest of all the tree stands. It is also the only type stand a 75 year old man can use safely...

There are 2 ways you can go about this Shakky. First you can use a two person team with one guy calling in the standard position and the shooter setting up 40 yards ahead of the decoys but this takes some of the fun away from it as I personally like calling them in myself. The second way is the way ...

CONGRATS BUCKBUSTER. I do not know a turkey hunter alive who hasn't killed a jake. Pay no mind to them and enjoy your first turkey harvest; he will allways be a trophy to you.

Congrats NZ. How do you get the deer out? Do you drag them or use a cart of some kind? On average how much do these deer weigh?

Killed a nice tom Tuesday morning at 7:00am. Called him in and he struted for about a minute at 60 yards. I gave him a couple of soft purrs and he came up to about 30 yards and just put on a strutting show you wouldn't believe. Shot him with a dose of #4's. Weighted 18.25 pounds, had a 7" beard...
