At first I had a Pronghorn scope on it and it was great. It had better light gathering than the varizone that I put on several years ago.My vari was pretty much dead on for distance when out of the box.I adjusted the left-right as needed but what in th...

I've found that deer usually head for a nearby trail .If you lose the blood trail and know your area well check out the runways. When they reach them they may change the direction that they were travelling when they lit out after the hit.

Dear Worried You certainly must be honest with your girlfriend and let her know that your family does harbour an Ohio Fan and then face what may come.If she truly loves you and your family you may get away with it and welcome her into the fold. HOWEVER if anybody in your family, even as distant as a ...

I have a bit of a connection with the Humane Society in Napanee. I have nothing but good things to say about these folks. There is a basic core of paid employees and a group of volunteers. Both groups work hard for the animals in the shelter and those that have to be investigated because owners do n...

I didn't have to take much cod liver oil but I did get a dose or two of worm wood from my aunts. Do you remember pin worms? Worm wood was the cure.It tasted so awful that if you thought that you had pin worms you didn't let on or some one would be giving you a dose of worm wood. I remember that my a...

I got the strap at least once every year that I was in elementary school and I was one of the good kids--top boy in my grade 8 class. It sure taught us to listen up once in a while and to not get too mouthy. I spent a lot of time swimming and fishing in the Trent River at #1 dam.I don't think that m...
