I had a doe "blow" at me for 15 minutes straight last season...never had that before...I guess she saw me in my treestand 35 yards away but maybe she could not smell me....I wish she would have come in shooting range, we don't need mama's, teaching their little ones such behaviour.

I work in a feed mill, so I have access to all different kinds of feed. Corn sells for $8 per bag (40kg). Microbeans (cooked and rolled soybeans) are really a fav. of the deer, and not many other creatures touch them, but they are expensive at about $16 per bag (I haven't checked the price lately, s...

I LOVE my API Bowhunter!! Its 5 years old and is still great, except for the tubing, replaced once so far. You cannot beat a climber. NO one knows where you were hunting etc. The one I have is really quiet , if you are careful, 5 minutees and you are in the tree. No other way to hunt.

Sorry I didn't explain better....the "Dew Drop Inn" is a local bar. All the local bars usually host a Big Buck Contest. Most are $10 to enter :D . If you shoot a big deer (weight that is)250+ you will do well in the contests. Although I think it would be a little far to drive from Oshawa t...

I signed up yesterday !!! The owner said registrations were way down so far, 300+last year, and only 150 this year. It is worth the $10 guys. In the past 2 years I have won a FREE shouldermount, and over$300 cash. Not bad for such a small investment. The "Dew Drop Inn" is in Bonville Ont. ...

Small as in, maybe 160 lbs field-dressed, and I am guessing 90-100 B&C, definately a 1 1/2 year old buck. I know that there are alot of guys that would have smoked him, but I like them bigger...plus its opening morning!!! I have 3 tags this year, and if it was Dec 29th, I would have taken him......

I saw a small 7 point buck at about 7:30am Friday....20 yards broadside, standing there for about 30 sec., I let him walk, TOO small. I just bought this crossbow, and I want something a little bigger as my first archery deer. Haven't been out since, pretty shitty weather.
