I planned the rail cut and a fabricator at my local welding shop cut rail and drilled out the holes for the riser. Cost me $40 cash. All the extra pieces I got from the Trading Post here on the forum. Matching scopes came used from Boo.

How much was removed?
TIA!

Re: Excalibur Equinox Losing it’s touch
When the brace height was too short on my Exocet, it sent arrows all over the place
ETA: also, there were wild arrows when I over lubed the rail and string

Re: Lower Power Crossbow Options?
Have my custom 115lb/90lb cut down Vixen is all I ever shoot. Custom Vixen set at 115lb is my go to bow for 3D. Bow set for 90lb now for indoor target shooting for winter. Two complete front ends, one strait riser and one forward riser. Two matching Hawke scopes. Can change it back and forth and it...

Lower Power Crossbow Options?
Any recommendations for a good quality, lower poundage ( 80-120# ), recurve crossbow?
Any lower power limbs for Excalibur crossbows? I searched but nothing came up.
TIA!

Re: Got my matrix 355... not top quality
Another issue has to do with installation of the quiver. One of the two screw hole on the stock base is not done properly. It'll go in two or three threads and tighten up. I didn't want to force it in. The other hole works perfect with ease to put the screw in. Tried to swap the screws and still sa...

Is a crossbow hold sensitive
Like a spring piston airgun?
I have been treating my Xbows like an SP air rifle and can't recall ever shooting from a bag rest, I try to sight in and shoot as close to free hand as I can.
I wish this thought would have hit me while it was still light.

Re: Problem installing R.E.D.S on Matrix 355
I just received my R.E.D.S today and also have a problem with the supplied set screws. They will not tighten down
I emailed Excalibur.

Shot my new Matrix 355 & have a ?
I sighted in my new Matrix 355. No complaints on accuracy, clusters the arrows all the way out to 50yds. Also, I was impressed with how well the Tract-zone scope is calibrated. Sighted in at 20yds and it was pretty much dead on at 30 & 40 and good enough at 50 to still hit the kill zone of a dee...

Scorpion Venom Rail Lube vs Excalibur Serving wax?
Which would you use?
BTW, I have both products on hand.
ETA: The Xbow is the Matrix 355 if that makes a difference.

Quiver?
I have the two items pictured but for the life of me I cannot find the quiver. Do I need to purchase an Excalibur brand quiver or will a generic brand fit? http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b285/williamN01/KGrHqVHJFIFGW98PnfsBRuSVJlrsg60_3_zps968134b0.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b285/willi...

Just ordered a Matrix 355 package
from wyverncreations.com. Saw a reference to them on here so I went to their site "just to take a look" and as they say, the rest is history. Also, from a different vendor, I purchased a Vari-Zone scope to replace the very cheap BSA Xbow scope on my Exocet( which my sons use ). I have been...
