Carbons are not more accurate. They are a bit more durable though than an aluminum bolt. If a carbon strikes another it most likely will bend and straighten back out. If aluminum hits something it bends for good. I would just leave well enough alone. My .02 cents!

There has too also be a limit as well, for wear and tear on the crossbow, not to mention those who insist on manual cocking of it.

I too use Mozilla as a browser. I have to so I can avoid the mandatory proxy setting configurations here at work. The proxy setting I am supposed to use on IE do not allow me to view this forum, access denied error.

I am thinking a 90 grain muzzy to each kneecap, then while he is immobile, rip out his fingernails and throw salt on them. Then perhaps cut out his tongue so we don't have to hear him whine. Then and only then behead the SOB!

About the same speed I would think. More experienced fellers can help you more. Keep in mind you do not need more speed than 310-313.

I agree. But not many things if any do go wrong with the Ten Point. They are made well.

Well I have both, and I look to the Ten Point for stalking and walking around. But if you are going to sit in a tree and have no worries about width of the bow, I would reccomend the Excalibur. Both pack more than enough punch.

"If crossbows become legal in this state, we will see so many people start using them that the archery season will be shortened and the true archery hunter will fade away like a late October sunset." So in essence what he is saying is that crossbows are more ethical than longbows right? Ot...

Ten Point makes what is called the Titan TL-4 that is in the $400 to $450 range. I have this bow and it is extremly accurate and not noticeably different than the Exocet 200 other than simplicity.
