Excalibur assassin shooting session
I took the assassin crossbow out to the range today. I put around 20 shots through it. I shot it from 20 to 60 yards. I used field points, excalibur x act, and thorn crossbow broadheads. I saw a picture of the 100 grain boltcutter fixed broadhead. It is blue and has the same cutting diameter as the original. It is a 2018 release

They have made some changes to the carni four. The first pack I had were super stiff and said were ok for all crossbows. More recently I bought some from the website directly and they said for crossbow shooting under 400 fps. These are not as stiff and the longer blades come off the ferrule at a sli...

I know they come with some yellow locktite on them but if you have to take the trigger out and re-install do you add some blue locktite at that point. Seems like quite a bit of the yellow stuff is gone.

I have the G5 havoc crossbow broadhead. Those blades are super sharp and they fly really well from my bulldog 400. Takes some practice to get the blades reset

The excalibur x act is the innerloc exp. It's an outstanding head. I'm also surprised we don't hear more about it.
