Re: Bulldog 380

I too am I surprised by the group size you're getting with those arrows, i wasn't able to achieve what you're claiming. I suspect you'll see that open up with a BH. Nobody here can tell you what your exact drop and holdover is going to be and it would be unwise for anyone to speculate especially si...

Re: Bulldog 380

I'd like to know how you get a 362 gr arrow. Usually the bare factory arrow is 250 gr without a broadhead. Chronographs are a tricky thing. They can easily give you erroneous readings. The best way I know how to use one is by using an indoor lighting kit with no florescent ambient lighting. As far ...

Re: Bulldog 380

That's some long shooting at a critter. I encourage you to shoot your broadheads at these ranges before shooting at any game. I'm actually very surprised at the results you say you're getting. The factory arrows are meant to use 150gr + broadheads because they use a lighter aluminum insert vs heavi...

Re: Arrows for Bulldog 380

Well, if your groups are that tight with stock arrows that's awesome and you're doing extremely well. I've had great results with Black Eagle Zombie Slayer arrows with 92gr brass inserts and 125gr points if you're using Luminoks....or 100gr brass inserts and 100gr points and Luminoks. The Spinal Ta...

Arrows for Bulldog 380

I'm using the standard illuminated diablo arrows. I've heard some good things about the black eagle executioners, zombie slayers and spynal taps. I'll have to say the arrows I'm using are grouping well at 60 yds 1 1/2- 2" groups. If I get any new arrows I'll probably will get them from Jerry at...

Bulldog 380

Got my Bulldog 380 sighted in today, I love this bow. Ended up with an 1 1/2" to 2" grouping at 60 yds. I was using the standard Illuminated diablos with a 100 Gr field point. After sighting in my bow, my buddy chrono'ed it to an 364 fps sec with 360-362 gr arrow. Does my speed seem seem n...
