Re: scent free vs. cover scent

Wash in cup of baking soda. Spray with scent free gold, gaint zip locks after dryed, stored before hunt. Still light spray before each trip into field. Hang out ,aired outside all night.

Easier rope cocking? !

Ok, I gotta ask.

Does the dr.stirrup 4x4 rope cocker really make any difference on the newer hard cocking crossbows.

I was going to recommend to a freind but figured a few of you may use one!

And had first hand knowledge, information.

Re: Micro 355

Cocked and shot my first 355. Yep the last jn. Sucks. Dang loud snap on the shot. Zing the bolt right along. Doubt the deer will care. But might string jump at 40 + yrds. Cocked and shot it several times. It's a close freind who doesn't even use it , cuz to hard to cocking for him. I mention a crank...

Re: Washing camo

For as long as I can remember. 2 big scoops of baking soda. Air dry on clothes line, inside out so sun doesn't fade camo.

If can't porch air , I'll have fresh pine branches or sage depending on my hunts. And store before hunt in big plastic zip lock bags.

Re: Letter to Buck

You need to talk to the squirrels, they seem to know the chatter going around the woods.

Re: Ozonics

With all the odor sprays etc on the market. Way easier to prevent cut down on odors of all kind. Except. Your breath, very few are available. Example#1. Setting a blind before elk season. Always know the wind. 3 nights in a row elk came in. I was watching before hunt started, for a freind with a tag...

Re: Smallest deer

 Yeah , we decided only mature does with no fawns. Sure the fawn was from a late rut encounter. Really tough when the fawns are so small they are still in Hiding mode. We did take one "long nosed" doe. No fawns with her but still probably had them running around somewhere, it can be a tough...

Re: Posting KEEP OUT

Guess it was a guest of a neighbor down the rd. We still made it known it was land he wasn't suppose to be trespassing on. We also told do not let it happen again or legal açtion would be taken! !

Posting KEEP OUT

Hunting the same private land, the last 5 yrs. Most people around area do not post. I can't speak for owner , an I know it's not a big deal to have signs up, and most don't like signs everywhere. Think you have to have them so far apart etc. So it usually takes a lot of signs. But, after the other d...
