I used the Vortex mini-max pro extreme on my buck this year. Cut his heart almost in half like a butterfly porkchop. But I am still using a Vertical bow. I hope to get a exocet and might go back to fixed blades then.

Well, theres some nice gouges on the overhanging limb this morning, where a rack scraped the tree, but its just to early for them to come off yet. I forsee one problem with the cob corn. The empty cobs were on the ground this morning. They are taking them out and eating them on the ground. Less time...

Nice picture wabi. I saw one at the new Cabelas in Wheeling about a month ago that was awesome. 2 Main beams on one side. 190 class Buck I think. I have never seen one in the wild. I just noticed your fom S. Ohio. I have some friends that hunt down that way sometimes next to the Kentucky border........

Congrats Dave. That is some kind of Milestone. You must have a very liberal season there. We are only allowed 1 Buck and 2 Doe per season, but we also have more than a Million hunters in this State so I guess thats why. Good eating. I have some jerky dehydrating now, the kids love it.

Well, I read about this on here and decided to try it. I put one together today. Using some natural limbs and some bungee's. It was 60 degrees here and 35 degrees above normal the weather said so it was a good day to do it. Well see how it does and I will post results if I get any. I had not even he...

Yes, a Pa. buck taken the third week in October. The new 4 point rule is helping in my area. The younger Bucks are getting to grow up. I see about a half a dozen bucks left over in my hunting area after season whereas they where almost all killed in years past.
