Re: NEW to Crossbows and Looking to Buy

I have the 360 and the 400 TDs. If I were to do it again and only own one, it would be the 360. The 360 has the updated old design limbs and the 400 limbs are completely different. The later is a better design but the updated old design are solid performers. When cranking the 360 it gets pretty stif...

Re: NEW to Crossbows and Looking to Buy

I did some shopping for someone in Winnie-pig. All dealers seem to be holding the line on the newer bows.
Which TD were you looking at?

Re: ProShot ACP Dissapointment!!!

Start an RMA to send the trigger unit back. They do have a solid solution for you. Both my 440 and 360 suffered from the same affliction.

Re: Are you doing enough to fight the gun grab?

I only donated $25 but every little bit helps. I will be donating to the Durham Conservative party and the Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke Conservative Association as well. The later is a pushy almost redneck office that are very vocal about the gun laws and likes to beat up Trudeau and his cronies. http...

Re: Ibex SMF

Look at the lower rear corner of the pocket that the riser fits into. If it is a 90 degree corner you'll want to contact Excalibur. If the corner is rounded, then then you're good.

Until the next government decides otherwise. As long as it's written on paper, it's law. To be interpreted any way they so choose.

This is key to the fact that if they want to do something, they will.

Re: Axe340 and stringer aid ??

I too had problems with the stringer on the Axe. I have the older model with the gray cord. The cord would "slip" when I tried to pull it up with the charger. And yes, I know how they work, I used the same stringer on many different models from the Axiom all the way up to the BD400. The Axe seems t...

Re: Axe340 and stringer aid ??

You are doing something wrong. I use it on my 360TD and 400TD. Once it is on, take up all the slack, including at the plastic blocks. Then crank it up enough to swap strings. You do not have to get the stringing aid rope to engage the trigger latches.

Re: Top Excalibur Scope

Like many here, I am a bit of a scope snob. I used to stick with Leupold for it's performance and reliability. Most notably the VXR Hog Socpe. Recently I've discovered this scope and I am very happy with it. https://vortexoptics.com/vortex-strike-eagle-1-8x24-ar-bdc3.html I had it on my 360 TD and t...
