Re: WHY IS IT.......?

Anthony, I understand now. I still say buy a good piece of land and have fun developing it and hunting on it. I think if you put some work into a property and see some decent bucks in your cams, it will get the juices flowing. I have some cultivating and tree planting to do at one place. At the othe...

Re: WHY IS IT.......?

Anthony, sit down and negotiate a number of days that she will accept. When you run out of the alotted time, then she can give you a hard time! Karin encourages me to go out as well as put out an effort to develop the properties we own. I am really looking forward to spending time making these prope...

Re: Boo

Thank you gentlemen! It was a good BD! Had my daughters with their spouses come and visit. The one son inlaw who is a chef at a nice restaurant made a great dinner and we killed a bottle of 1991 vintage port.

Re: Suppressor 400 speed

It isn't available yet. I’ve been seeing them listed for sale, so at least some places have them already. I’m just waiting on user reports I could be wrong on that. I see some places have them in stock in their online catalogs. I'm not buying one. I'm not buying one. I'm not buying one. I'm not buy...

Re: Ticks on deer

I do spray down everything with Permythrin but the bug was transferred from my hand to my underwear when I peed most likely because I recall seeing one crawling on my hand that day. Almost too much information!   BTW, we should leave Opossums alone. They eat ticks! Up to 5,000 a year!

The "BEST" in my opinion and use is the Aero Jig by Firenock.
Been using it for 1.5 years and it lays down perfect fletching orientation.
I agree Norm. After using an Aero Jig, it leaves me wondering why all other jigs are on an angle.

Re: Ticks on deer

Mice/rodents are the largest carrier of ticks. Some information will tell you that if you make your mice tick free, you'll reduce your tick population by 90%. This has been a bad year for ticks in Durham. So early summer I started to spray where the grass meets the brush and more importantly I've st...

Re: Quill arrows

Locating the static spine with a marked vane is something custom arrow makers do. Arrows without the cock vane located is the industry standard. It's a matter of economics. The Proflight arrows are better quality and will fly more consistently. But it doesnt matter who sells arrows, dynamic spine is...
