Re: Ontario hunting Reports ** failure to submit**

For over 40 years our Ministry of Natural Resources (then Lands and Forests) has done virtually nothing to keep tabs on our small deer and moose population. Prior to that, they did aerial surveys that actually gave them some information. Our deer and moose population had really gone down and the MNR...

Re: Excalibur Micro trigger questions

I'm shooting the bow in my garage at 5 feet with my eyes closed so I can concentrate on the trigger. I am getting to love it now, it's so clean and crisp. They definitely got all the grittyness out and lightened it up a lot. It's the kind of trigger that you don't even notice now, which is great. :...

Carrying hundreds of pounds per square inch, Excalibur wants lots of engagement to make the trigger very safe to use for a long time. Creep is one thing that is acceptabl...

Re: hard case question

Although I've never flown anywhere to hunt with a crossbow, I've never felt the need for a hard case or anything more than a padded cloth case. Excaliburs do not need much to protect them. I do not believe that you need hard core protection but if I thought it was going to be handled by a bunch of t...

Re: Christmas Day Family Traditions

Well two come to mind... As far as eats, in the south we don't do stuffing much but rather "dressin'". Its basically stuffing made in a big pan rather than in the bird. I think at one time the po' folks in the south didn't have a bird, but had cornbread so they just fancied it a bit for special day...

Done, I might have been a bit too forward. I won't start on my rant about the waste of tax dollars and poor stewardship of the MNR.

Re: Excalibur micro 360 td

The post isn't subject to high pressure friction so I use whatever on it. Mostly I use dielectric grease for a lower mess. I think where the end of the post and the fork that grabs it is important and I use a little MoS2 on the fork to reduce friction wear. I know I'm being am being overzealous lubr...
