The peak of the first one was Nov. 15 up here. So 28 days later is when the 2nd rut arrives +/- .
Not as intense as the Nov. one. Bucks will be more opportunistic if the situation presents itself. They won't be expending as much energy at this time as in Nov.

I use a fillet knife to remove as much as possible during the butcheing process. The backstraps are easiest to fillet I find.

Removing the trigger as Gary suggested is needed. Fill the trigger area with rags so that the space occupied by the trigger does not get filled or else it will be a PITA to remove the set foam. I went to a local Graphic/Auto/Sign maker and showed him an arrow wrap. I picked my colour. He set his plotter/cutting machine with the dimensions and two minutes later I had 40 custom wraps for $10.
