Servings

Just wondering how much people pay for putting a new serving on a string? A couple days ago I left 3 to be re-served and was quoted $7.00 each. Well, I need the strings and it is cheaper than buying new ones. Perhaps it is time for me to learn how to do servings?

Re: Excalibur taking a beating.

I do go on facebook (which I usually call farcebook) but unlike most folks, I read very little of what is posted as it just has nothing to do with me. I make a quick check on a couple of friends and relatives then get off. Rather than the bashing of it, I simply use it as a very small tool and reali...

Re: Assassin problem

Yes, the string was on the ADF but the big problem was that when trying to let the bow down, it would not go down except for half way. It could not be pushed down at that point. I was able to crank the bow up but not able to get the string onto the trigger. Simply could not pull the string back any ...

Re: Assassin problem

Okay fellas. Yes, it does appear that hardly anyone really understood the problem and even when I spoke on the phone with Peter, he did not understand the problem. However, once he did understand it, he was completely at a loss and agreed it would probably have to go to the warranty center. And as ...

Re: Switching Broadheads

I know I preach the fixed heads a lot, and do like them. I went out shooting today and it was windy! I was double checking my POI with the NAP Thunderheads, and they were drifting all over the place. I have several 125 grain Killzones so decided to try them parallel to field points out to 30 yards ...

Re: Charger crank

For sure it will work. My neighbor also has the Micro and got the new crank. He loves it.

Re: Assassin problem

If you call the warranty center, ask to speak to "Dawn". She was very helpful when I talked to them. And yeah, you're caught on the ADF device. Yes, it is easy to see it is caught there but that does not solve the problem. As for the warranty center, I'm told you can no longer contact them direct; ...

Re: Assassin problem

So over 2 hours ago Peter was to call the warranty center then they would call me to set up when I could take the bow to them for fixing. Looks like I'll have to fix it myself...somehow.

Re: Assassin problem

Got your emails and replied. Can you send me a pic of how far back the sled will go when you are cranking it? I am in a swamp area, I will host the pics shortly Thank you for answering in the email. I could easily do that but it is just as easy to imagine what it looks like. It is back as far as it...

Re: Assassin problem

Once you get it latched into the trigger NOT the ADF, fire the bow with an arrow in it and then dry to reset the trigger to the string. Therein lies the problem. How do I reset the trigger without moving the sled all the way forward. I can crank it back to the very back but that won't help me at al...

Re: Assassin problem

Once again please allow me to restate the problem: I did try to uncock the bow and perhaps I have been doing this wrong but it has worked in the past. I pulled the trigger and then pressed the lever to uncock. When I did this all was well until the sled got about half way down and I can not get it t...

Re: Assassin problem

When you say string behind the trigger do you mean behind the latch teeth that that hold the string back in the fire position. Is your safety on turn if off and pull the trigger and then reset if I am pictureing this correctly. Sorry but it appears I have not explained the problem enough. I could p...
