Congrats on the 2 birds very nice. I take it that is in Florida. I hear that there is a lot of pressure on the public land this year and not many being taken so well done ! However no pics it didn't happen !!

I've killed well over a hundred and one place I hunt is bow only so I either use the compound or the crossbow. I usually end up with the crossbow as it is easier. One thing you find is getting them within the magical 40 yards for shotgun is easy but getting them to come that extra 20 or so yards can...

Yup already got my turkey tags and applied for deer !

This is something that most fish and game depts are doing Montana just changed and Michigan along with Kansas and a few others !

Good luck oink oink !

I turkey hunted with a buddy in Texas and he told me one pasture had numerous pigs coming to it including a huge boar. I never saw a single pig all week just my luck but did kill my 4 turkeys :mrgreen:

I state this because you said you would hunt turkey with it. Unless its different rules for residents or new rules this year you can't hunt spring turkey in Montana with a crossbow.

Never did wraps but I used to have home made jigs and dipped and crested all my shafts for years by hand man I even used to splice 2 different coloured feathers for the cock feather now I just use standard store bought stuff lol
