Re: Bison Hunt 2015

Looks like fun. I was in Nebraska last spring turkey hunting and I saw a bunch of bison running free on the ranch l was hunting. I was gonna ask if he hunted them but figured they were like cattle. Maybe they weren't .

Re: This Morning I Pulled my Stands Fer Another Year,,

I pulled all my stands about 2 weeks ago. A few years ago all the guys around me that leave their stands up had them stolen in February. I lost a camera and think it must have taken pics of them in the act. They must have been prepared thieves because you would have needed at the least bolt cutters ...

Re: Are You Tough Enough?

When I bought my exomax it didn't come with a rope cocker so I thought the only way to cock one was with your hands. Then a buddy laughed at me and showed me his rope cocker. I went right out and bought one. I still used to try once every year just to see if I could do it and once had to do it in th...

Re: Turkey arrows for micro 335

Last season I used the magnus bullheads out of my Micro. I tuned them to fly great. However my bush went dry and I never had one legal turkey in close to try them out... LOL Jeff Interesting I have a bunch of 100 grain and 125 grain bullheads I used in my compound for turkey. Since I ruined my shou...

Re: Targets

I had a block and it sucked after not much use arrows were going right through. I also did the stuffed bag thing cheap and works great on field points. This year I was hunting at a buddies place in Kentucky and was having some issues with my bow and had to sight it in. He had a Rinehart Targets 18-1...

Re: Turkey Hunting With Crossbow

I have shot a number of turkeys with my excal all with my 100 grain thunderheads which is my deer etc head. Like was posted its shot placement that is important. I aim for the base of the neck. If you hit them they don't go far, if you miss its usually a clean miss. There are lots of videos out ther...

Re: Frustration with Excalibur

Interesting. I recently bought a micro and was surprised to find that in the previously unopened box were 125 grain not 150 grain points, scope already had the rings on and tight to it but they were not set right for the rail and the scope info was diferent to the scope also I was very disappointed ...

I agree with this it took me over a year to finally decide to buy the bow and the main sticking point for me was that I couldn't get anyone to sell me just the bow ! :x

Re: what happened to the reasonable price on Excal crossbows

I have owned and loved my exomax for 15 years but when I picked up my buddies micro last year for the first time in 15 years I knew I wanted a new one. I had several older rifles I will never hunt with again since I have been bowhunting only for the last 20 years and I was lucky enough to find a dea...
