Re: Equinox Screw Up

Tell him you did it also. I am proud of leaving one cocking hook on the string and shooting it and seeing my blood squirt eight feet out. Never knew blood could squirt that far away from ones body. It was a lovely fine misted looking spray. The rope cocker handle smashed on my baby finger. Dryfires a...

Re: Exomax "Major Screw Up"

Dry fires are ok. I shot mine with one cocking rope hook still on string. All I can say is I did not know till then that blood can squirt out of you eight feet away. LOL

My opinion is "it is what it is." I do not pay the bills so it does not matter what I think. CHEERS!

90km winds here this afternoon

OH Hum! Big wind storm tonight and 10 000 without power including our whole town. Thank God for generators as my wife is on oxyen! A couple lights, internet, two laptops and a battery charger for my flashlights. Fireplace for warmth and a gas stove and light it by hand to cook. I feel like a caveman...

Re: A Sad Day For Vermont

Try living in a tourist small town. As a kid I could walk the river for miles and miles fishing. Now all the farms have been bought by city people for cottages and the first thing they do is slap no trespassing signs up. I had about 500 acres to hunt on the past 25 years and slowly they have been so...

Re: Coon Fight

Biggest fight I ever heard was two coons fighting at night. The screams sounded like babies in pain. Put a flashlite at the tree and they would stop fighting then when the flashlite went out they would start fighting again. I will never forget the sound. At least not till dementia arrives that is. :...

Don't get to excited about it now. They are only testing to get out bugs then things will change. List your constructive criticism so they know and that will help in the final product. CHEERS!

Highly doubt it will remain looking like this. They would have to add in all the features still.

Re: Thoughts ?

I had over 450 acres to myself the last 25 years. Slowly over the past 4 years parcels were sold off and no trespassing signs were put up even though the buyers agreed in the sales that I can always hunt there. I stopped going to those properties. Here I sit four years later with not a single place ...

Re: If you had a choice?

I would have gone with the Axiom. I'll be hunting with a 350 SE this year, but I have hunted with my Axiom the last 5 years and killed one or two deer with it every year. I sighted it in the first year and since then I check the zero every summer before the season starts. I have not adjusted the sc...

Re: If you had a choice?

Axiom is 175lbs vrs Vixen 2 is 150lbs. Waffer biscuit rail certainly would not bother me as I was told they were quieter, lighter and guaranteed for life. Axiom in a heartbeat if it were for myself. For the wife I would pick the Vixen 2. Little easier to cock and it is pink. CHEERS!
