One tip for you, I always liked using spray lube on the cases. Much easier than the lube tray. JMO That is unless you have carbide dies which eliminates the case lubing...however, the carbide dies are more expensive than the non-carbide. And carbide dies for a bottlenecked rifle cartridge are cost ...

We still have guns in racks in pickup windows here in Tx. But I can’t shoot my bow in my yard because it’s against city ordinance.

Since it’s to save $ and since you won’t be shooting bunches of rounds / week, a single stage press will be fine, a used one even better. 308 is popular so finding a set of dies should be pretty simple. The cabellas lazerstrike 2 has a simple fast opening o ring system and a nice wide cut. I know you like the fixed blade but l have shot clean thru about a dozen deer with them in my vixen 2 that is about 260 fps pretty much your speed. I'm shooting the 125 grain and a zombie with a heavy 110 insert...

It was a sad day when Colton got to be too old for the youth weekend hunts. Miss those days. He has since discovered girls, jobs, and other forms of fun. Some not so Dad approved.😳
