Simple things like buying used items instead of new, actually dressing warmer in winter instead of keeping the thermostat at 70 degrees, Cleaning the house with nature friendly ...

Re: BC Proposal to BAN Scopes on Crossbows

I agree this scope ban is B.S. but I feel the Bow manufactures kind of brought it on them self's they keep selling faster bows that they themselves push as 100 yard hunting tools. I can tell you for a fact that scopes help reduce wounded animals with better shot placement at reasonable and ethical d...

Re: what my wife does with our christmas trees

LOVE IT! So often a set antlers or a mounted animal can cause friction in a relationship with a partner but I love the antlers for a tree topper and to have your wife come up with that is great! It also seams really appropriate in some primal way as I always feel the Deer I harvest are a gift from g...

Re: freezing deer meat

For the first twenty years of butchering we always used the plastic wrap and paper and it was pretty good but slow . But for the last twenty years I just use Zip lock freezer bags , but the trick is I only put in enough meet that will fill one iron skillet with out over crowding and before closing t...

Re: Equinox crossbow for sale (price drop)

This is a good buy on a great bow look at all stuff that comes with it .
It would be a great purchase for someone's first recurve x bow you would end up buying all the accessories eventually anyway and here they are thrown in.
