Look at the diameter of the string! :lol: :lol: :lol: The string is around a 1/2 in thick but the ratio of the bolt to the string is around the same as we have today, you can see the bolt in the Knight's hand ready for loading with a Bodkin point tip designed to separate chain mail and armor plate.
