Re: New micro 355 cheek piece issue
my Gen 1 micro had clicks and pops to it when i put my cheek on it.tried tightening and lubing the screw. best thing i did was to take it off. it doesnt really do much and isint adjustable anyway. why screw on dead weight. looks nice though.

Re: Do REDS make a diff under 340fps?
i can feel the weight up front soive taken them off my Matrix crossbows in the past all but my 405.without them noise is louder and shock seams a little more but for hunting id rather have a lighter bow. having the reds does make brace adjustment easier but i just mark the side of the rail with a sh...

Re: Time for a new bow...
why limit to those 2 models.id go shoot a few at your local dealer. just me but i dont like linkage designs unless there compounds. its just a feel thing. doubt there would be long term issues with trigger bars and linkage in the Excals.i do prefer the Micro series over the Matrix strictly for hunti...

Re: 150 grain Boltcutters on Zombie Slayers for bear?
there is an article about aiming for the middle of the middle. i remember seeing it and the guide promoted never a lost bear using that idea.the idea being not to overthink and staying away from the shoulder.the lungs go further back in bear anatomy was what they were saying.being a deer hunter most...

Re: Durable Rain Suit Suggestions

Re: EBAY Scam
i got porch pirated once and ate fees and also sold an electronic audio piece on ebay and had to refund. found out down the road that it was a practice that this type person would take the 6-8 screws out and just enough to change the cover over switching and giving you there broken crapomatic while ...

Re: blackout finish
i have a gen 1 and dont have pinch issues.i believe its those recoil pates being snugged down too tight. thats why they use a spacer now to let it breath. the thick black coating they put on this riser kinda defeated the purpose of shaving off to make space. i figured this was a blem at the mill and...

Re: blackout finish
the black finish about fell off soaking it in brake fluid for 2 days. just hit it with a tooth brush every few hours. my riser must have been a blemished riser because it had been grinded at the recoil plates. Duracoat is easy peasy. you can also get it in a 2 part spray can. loads of YouTUBE vids. ...

Re: Red dot scope
if your use to magnification a red dot might be strange to get use to. ive used bushnell trs 25-s and various TruGlo s on crossbows and shotguns. ive found them all to work fine. the size of the dot comes into play too. most lower price red dots are 3-5 MOA . i like the smaller 2 MOA dots, you can f...

Re: blackout finish
if its that spray on liner type finish they used on special models had while back i would soak it in brake fluid a few days. it will fall right off. word though... i have a hunch many of these special black out models are really just blem parts that got sprayed over. you may have anodize under it or...

Re: Thoughts on the 308 short...
if your looking for smaller and compact i wouldnt rule out a 315 or 335 Micro. comparing it to a 308 shorty its all the same but with minor differences. to become more compact i chopped my 335 stock.i can live with a shorter length of pull especially wearing winter cloths or up in a tree stand where...

Re: Nocternal Deer
