Flemish string issue?
never seen this before? materials gave out ? stretched out too much over time? string about a year old. shot only inside less than 150 shots would be a good guess. arrow hit its mark but the funny noise it made was like utt ohh...the string jumped the string stops and is still one piece. http://i123...

Re: Crossbow Sling
The CLAW is a great choice. you also may consider a small pack that cradles a crossbow. then you could use hiking sticks for better balance and less stress on your back.legs n arms going up hills. i have a new never used Gameplan Crossbow pack and new condition Claw sling for sale let me know. http:...

Re: Triggertech for my 335
glad you got it back together. one reason i dont use locktite. it becomes life long maintenance. every time you take a screw out or in you need to remove that junk so you can get proper torque and dont pull threads in the soft metals.ive been lucky to have great triggers in my Micros.i did put a Tri...

Re: Excalibur 405 riser opinion
if you dont send the riser in i would at least get the new spacers. chocking those limbs at the recoil plates in my opinion cant be good. ive been running my modded riser and spacers a few years now. no issues and only run factory strings.

Re: Excalibur 405 riser opinion
i would send the riser in. cant hurt. they will take a little radius off the shelf where the limbs leave the riser and install spacers that allow the limbs to breathe at the recoil plates. you shouldnt loose any speed if your limbs are already getting 405fps. my guess the reason you dont see as many...

Re: Striped Threads
closer threads make skip and tear out easier in soft metal. ive owned a boat load of older Horton crossbow with never a stripped bolt thread. the common thing is that they always used coarse threads. people like me :eh: sometimes honk down on stock bolts. the result is stripped threads. i dont under...

Re: Striped Threads
in the past ive tapped up a size. 12 -24 size. not sure why went with 10-32 with the stock screws. those finer threads to me are askin for stripping. the quiver mount holes down on the end use 10-24.

Re: new matrix string seems shorter??
going to flemish is always gonna cost in speed. one reason why i actually luv the factory strings for my Excals that i want to shoot top speeds. ive played with twisting up higher brace heights and id say you could get maybe 6-10fps difference depending on string or model.

Re: Doe Master
i think some sub forums may be needed on this website. you have to scroll have down the page half way to even see new Topics. the page for Crossbow Hunting seams too top heavy. just a thought but i find it time consuming scrolling through too much to get to things.

Re: Scorpion Optics
they look like a few re- badged out the back door China made scopes ive seen. slapped on with a company logo . they may be alright but for reliability i prefer Leupys.
