Re: Deer cart upgrade
Mine arrived beat up but all parts where there I think. Were lock pins supposed to be supplied to lock the rear frame when unfolding? Instructions show the pin but it's not on parts list. Also the handle came bent. It does not look to be from shipping but most likely from the manufacturer. Mine had...

Re: Carrying a wallet while hunting
Here in GA we have a system on our phones called Outdoors GA. Our licenses show up on it and our deer and turkey kills have to be registered on it. You can use it even without a cellphone signal and enter the info and once you hit a signal it will be transmitted. A processor will not accept your ani...

I use the milkweed pods also. I pull the little seeds off them so I am not spreading that stuff around my hunting area though.

Re: Deer cart upgrade
Hope it's everything people have said, I just ordered one from Scheels, $116 to my door. Wish it had solid tires and straps , but the design looks good. The tires will stay inflated for you. I hauled a doe over 300 yards with mine up a steep side of a ridge with no straps used (I did have 2 in my p...

This is for Boo!
Don here is a pic of my Crawler in the bed of my Honda Ridgeline along with my climber. The bed is just 5' 2" long and it fits in well.

Re: busted in ground blind
these deer are staring straight at the blind from across the field, wind in my favor. then they bolt off. blind has been there for about 6 weeks. they seem to know when I'm in it. they bed about 150 to 200 yards from the blind. side zippers only open about an inch or so to peek out of. think I'm go...

Re: Deer cart upgrade
I killed a doe back on the 20th and had to haul her out of a deep valley around 300 yards to a road so I used my new Hawke Crawler. I loaded her up and went to dragging over some very rough terrain that was almost all uphill. With my old cart I had to stop and clear a path every few yards but the Cr...

Re: Should I doctor Scrapes
I checked a camera today and had a nice 8 point make a scrape right in front of it and has not been back since. I peed in the scrape to see what happens. Will check it again in 5 or so days.

Re: 340 axe usage
I ordered a Matrix 350LE from Al's and was not charged any tax. Why is it being added now?
