Re: First Use of The Hawk Crawler

curious too. i bought one because of the press these things have been getting but after putting it together have concerns and would love any feedback. first of all this thing his wayyyyy heavier than any deer cart i have owned or used. can see it being a chore just getting in and out of the vehicle...

Try this new BlackHeart Bypass rope cocker , designed with four pulleys should make the Micro way easier to cock. Not cheap but I found for around $30 online.
Looks like it takes about 10 minutes to cock the bow.

I love to watch the world come alive from a tree stand in the mornings. A deer sighting just makes it a better day.

Re: How old is old

I turn 70 in December and feel no older than 69 and 11 months. I still hunt mostly alone and still use my climber daily. I think my new Crawler cart saved my life already this season. :D

Re: Off brand cranks

If you don't want to spend $180 on a crank get a c2 crank.

Re: Deer cart upgrade

Mine arrived beat up but all parts where there I think. Were lock pins supposed to be supplied to lock the rear frame when unfolding? Instructions show the pin but it's not on parts list. Also the handle came bent. It does not look to be from shipping but most likely from the manufacturer. Mine had...

So mine is not the only shipping box received all torn up .
Not good, thankfully nothing was missing.
One of the guys on CT forum received his with about half of the box missing along with most of the parts. They ended up sending him another one.
