Re: 2021 Ontario Moose draw system

The immediate result will be a 70 % or greater reduction in the total number of "Licensed" Moose Hunters allowed to hunt each year. The new system is designed in that it will discourage anyone NEW wishing to take up moose hunting to do so going forward. ( the so call next generation being frozen out...

Re: Charger Crank

Excalibur replaced the whole Charger Crank EXT with a brand new in the box crank. Never ever had a complaint about customer service with Excalibur! I'm definitely gun-shy now using this crank! I will NOT use it without the fail-safe strap in either direction! 👍 Good choice 👍Thanks for sharing your ...

Re: Blood trailing in the rain
As long as you are not carrying a weapon why would you need permission to use a dog to track a hit deer? Why would that ever be illegal?
Answer COPIED DIRECTLY FROM MNR REGs "Note: Use of dogs is not permitted during the Bows Only seasons. Landowner’s written permission is required...

Still in doubt a simple phone call to CS would be the best way to put your mind at ease.

Re: Blood trailing in the rain

Another thing to consider is whether you are hunting during an electrical storm. If you are, remember that if you are sitting in a tree stand, you are sitting on metal. If it's a ladder stand, that metal reaches right to the ground. In either case, that's a heck of a lot like sitting right on top o...

Re: Charger Crank

So I can catchup to what happened. Concerned as I use the Charger daily .
So to get better picture when this happened the wrist strap WAS or WAS NOT being used.
Because I found it difficult up until now to understand how the handle spun out of control ???

"Would also follow the recommendation above by contacting Excalibur Customer Service before attempting a fix." Careful That Nasty splinter can do major damage to you hands if not handled carefully ALSO so as not to miss your hunt this what I have used in the past which was quick and did fantastic jo...

Re: drsturrip on a equinox?

I gave it a try and could not get used to it. I had it on a Micro. It does make the effort easier, but for me it seems uncomfortable. I gave it to a friend. I would get a crank instead, but it has to be the older version. Good luck with your decision. Agreed Have went with the C2Crank. My back has ...

Re: Who wants to camp out at this place?

If the tail was longer I would consider it as a possible cougar sighting
But the tail length suggest it is a coyote.
The Cougar Option however would be a more exciting theory which could lead to a lively debate as to their presents in Ontario

Re: 2020 Ontario Regs are available

Some? They wiped out calves in Bow Hunting. For me it is has been about just getting out and enjoying a week knowing full well that the chances of a shooting calf with a bow was 1800 to 1. The fact is every moose hunter could be given an Archery Season Only Calf tag and have very little effect on th...

2020 Ontario Regs are available

The MNRF has screwed moose hunters already starting this year not next as they lead everyone to believe.
I would say moose hunting will be a thing of the past for the most going forward.

Re: Canada 'strongly opposed' to U.S. stationing troops near shared border

The only problem I have with the post is it refering to her as
" Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland"

To me it appears she has stepped up taking on more of the role of Canada's
" Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland "
as JT hides out.
