Hear Ya. Been there. Done that.
Cost to replace limbs was going to be more than the Legend XL was worth so learn from the lesson and saved the money an bought a Excalibur instead.

I would say you need to focus on your 20 yard adjustment first and only. Leave speed adjustment where it is then I would say adjust down 1 click and left one click to start . Then skip the 30 yards and focus on the 40 yd by adjusting only the speed dial. I would expect you will need very little adju...

You may want to ask the previous owner if you can if they used loctite could also Use penetrating oil first on the thread Cut a slot in the head. I am trying a new target myself . I got a third hand bag and am cutting my plastic feed bags in pieces to use as filler . Taking a lot of time to fill but it beats burning them .
