Anybody have an experience having hogs come to it ?
I don't but it may be worth a try. Set up a Game Camera and spray some on a tree and see what happens.

Re: BC Proposal to BAN Scopes on Crossbows

So then what's next no scopes on rifles cause some hunters can shoots their game a few hundred yards away? I guess it will be iron sights? What's next?? They ban everything but spears and the spear can not a shaft on it longer than 3 feet. All spear hunters will have to undergo a psychiatric evalua...

Re: Nose Jammer Experiment

I had a one time trial. Sprayed it on a small baby pine at the base of my tree stand. Filled the woods with very strong vanilla scent. Only thing that came in was a small spike. Never seen a deer act so crazy. At 30 yards away, he was jerking head up and down, left and right , nose up down etc.. tu...

Re: Nose Jammer Experiment

Smells like vanilla but also different. It’s stronger smelling and last longer than any vanilla mixture I have used in the past. I can honestly say it has attracted deer better than any of my vanilla concoctions. A couple of squirts fills the woods up with scent. Bill That's good if it's bringing t...

I'm plenty happy with my matrix 350 le :)
I am happy with my Exomax. All my cars are kept until they won’t run anymore to. Love the new crossbows but don’t need to upgrade. The Exomax does the job and then some with no issues.

Re: Nose Jammer Experiment

Nose jammer is a cool product. I would use it, but far too many bears in my area. attracts bears :?: might not be a good thing for here either It's just vanilla in an aerosol can. :eusa-dance: Smells like vanilla but also different. It’s stronger smelling and last longer than any vanilla mixture I ...

Iced up rail

My arrow froze to the rail on my Exomax this morning. The freezing rain did it. Glad I noticed it and got it all cleaned off. Would of blown up in my face!!

This is why I carry a clean rag in a ziplock bag sprayed good with silicone spray.

May need DeIcer!!

Re: Nose Jammer Experiment

might have to give this a try next year, but another reason more deer on camera could possibly be that other food sources have run out :?: This is at the end of a Cul-De-Sac in a larger subdivision. Lot's of food around the houses and some of the people also feed them. I'll keep using it and see wh...

Nose Jammer Experiment

I liberally sprayed a log lying on the ground alongside the small corn pile. Always got a few pics without the Nose Jammer over a span of a week or so. Never got this many pics in just a few days. I'd say the Nose Jammer is drawing them in more consistently than just the corn because of the new buck...

Re: Ticks on deer

I had a huge deer tick on me two weeks ago. Oldy enough I drove into a cut corn field, got out, walked maybe twenty steps in 6" corn stubble. And came out with a tick under my shirt on my bicep. Go figure how I picked it up. Also during moose season up around Parry Sound the deer tick larvae was on...

Re: My Experiment

I've see Sean's videos. He's a good guy.

I don't use it during the rut but when things slow down it seems to help keep them around. Will see how it goes.

My Experiment

Maybe too late in the season to use this now. I started spraying it early in the season low on the trees where the corn feeder is. This way the deer associate the smell with food and don't spook. Church Buddy's deer like it judging from the pics of them smelling the trees. The spot is so small playi...

New Area (Update)

Found a new spot of 45 acres bordered by a creek on one side and a cemetery on the other. Mostly wooded with a power line right of way down the lower 1/4 of it. About 10 minutes from my house. I'll be talking to the owner this week. Wish me luck!! Bill Struck out!! His son hunts it. Looks to be an i...

At best this area is a travel corridor for them. You just have to be there when they are passing through.
There is a bit of luck involved with hunting a place like this. You just have to be there at that random time that a deer decides to walk through.
You are right on target!!
