Excalibur Twilight DLX
Finally got around to shooting my Exomax before my hunt. I never take the Exomax hunting until I've done a fair share of shooting it. Wouldn't you know the Shadow Zone scope failed. I have to run out and get some almond extract. But for shots I mixed a tea spoon of vanilla extract with a teaspoon of pure home made maple syrup. And boy does it not smell at all what I was expecting. Smells like bourbon, not sweet at all. Tastes delicious tho! Drink enough of it and you will fall...

Exomax Cocked Limb Width
Don't have my Exomax readily available and need to know what it's limb width is cocked. Looking at a new blind and need to see if the bow is too wide for it.

I believe the best advice is to put the best scope you can afford on your crossbow and then practice a lot. If and when funds become available then seriously consider a scope upgrade if needed.

I shoot an Exomax advertised at 350FPS depending on arrow weight, etc. My broadhead experience may be helpful to you as our crossbows are about the same speed. My Exomax is stored in a closet in a spare bedroom. I have it standing vertically secured with bungee cords with the string off. This keeps it out of the way and out of harms way.
During hunting season I keep it stringed and in a soft case.
