Re: Ghost blind

Deer don't look twice at them, just don't get too comfortable and move around too much. I saw tons of doe on a gun opener, buck only tag! They walked off the field and into this small draw right past me. I had a perfect wind for that spot too. :eusa-think: [url=https://postimg.cc/145PQXJr] https://i...

Re: Aftermarket Micro Strings?

For what the price of crossbows are Excalibur should never allow this to leave the factory, It's hardly an Excalibur exclusive problem. That''s a good argument, but it's not like a new problem either. If it were not for the crappy fasteners, and latch issues there would be nothing to belly ache abo...

Re: Aftermarket Micro Strings?

The center serving is Angel Majesty, and wax can promote separation. I don’t wax strings that are served with that material and have no issues. If it’s not broken don’t fix it.

Re: Aftermarket Micro Strings?

Get the latches fixed up, and DO NOT LUBE the center serving! Get a good Flemish String, and you'll be golden!

Re: Range finder shot craps.

Email me if this does not make sense. One day with a little time to kill recently I took the Crossbows to my B.I.Ls house to shoot. While rangfinding & setting my deer target out at various ranges to check Nikon Spot On to my bows. That program only works on what speed you put in, all the other info...

Re: Range finder shot craps.

I had the Bushnell 450, is was $99 when i bought it, used it 6 years, gave it to the Kid and bought another Bushnell, next model up. They just work, and are worth the money in my book. Take a couple markers with you. Clothes pins work great! Walk off 30 yards in three directions, and pin it. If you'...

I'm hoping to stick two this year, first one will be SWAT A4-Mini with the Matrix 380, then I'm hunting with the Axe the rest of the way until gun season, I'm going to try that Muzzy! :eus...

There’s only one thing that is totally true when it comes to this discussion, you cannot kill a deer if you’re not out hunting!

Re: Hunting the lunar charts.

I watch the weather report, scout the places I hunt, and make sure I don't stink! I play the wind in the areas that show recent sign, and that seems to work for me. I'm with you, I don't trust the magic 8 ball!

Re: Newbie here...love the site...Quick question...

The design to have the location set with the machining makes them all go back together and provide the same accuracy. The take down models just make it quicker and easier to align the parts.
Welcome to the group, lots of great folks here!

Re: Blood trails

I like to actually see them expire, but I do want a good blood trail just to make sure I can find my game should it make it into the thick stuff.
